“Quilt as desired.” Those project-stopping words at the end of a quilt pattern. We spend lots of time and effort choosing fabrics, cutting, and piecing only to come to standstill because of those words. This is where Lisa’s course, Quilter’s Groove Academy can really help to eliminate those project-stopping words. I only quilted as a hobby, and I loved the machine quilting part of a project the most, but I was always stopped by what to quilt. Lisa offers many videos to help improve the actual execution of the quilting, but it is the eye-opening design part that really changed my fear of the words “quilt as desired.” I was dubious at first, but I am a convert, and now I find myself looking at quilting patterns with an eye towards the potential for the quilting at the end.
